1. The short version

We are a solar marketing company serving United States consumers only. We advertise heavily, we use cookies and tracking pixels that operate automatically and invisibly when you visit this site, we buy marketing lists from third parties, and we retarget visitors with ads on platforms like Google, Facebook, and Instagram. We use your information to market to you and to deliver solar projects through Trio Solar and the partners needed to complete your project. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties. Everything below is the detail behind that summary.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details you submit through our quote form or otherwise: name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
  • Property and energy details you share: roof type, average electric bill, address, utility, and what you're interested in.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, tracking technologies run automatically, without any further action or notice to you. These collect:

  • Device and browser information (IP address, device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language).
  • Usage data (pages viewed, time on page, links clicked, referring site or ad, scroll behavior).
  • Identifiers set by cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (including advertising IDs used to recognize you across sites and devices).

Information we get from other sources

  • Purchased marketing lists and lead data. We acquire consumer contact and interest data from third-party list providers, lead generators, and data vendors. If we contact you, your information may have come from one of these sources rather than from this website.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms (e.g., Google, Meta) that provide audience, conversion, and demographic data.
  • Our project partners (e.g., Trio Solar) in connection with your quote or project.

3. Cookies, pixels & tracking — full disclosure

We use, and expect to use, technologies including:

  • Google tags (Google Ads conversion tracking, remarketing tags, and analytics) — to measure ads, build remarketing audiences, and understand site usage.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook & Instagram) — to measure ad performance, build Custom and Lookalike Audiences, and retarget you with our ads on Meta platforms.
  • Retargeting and audience cookies from advertising networks — so that after you visit this site, you may see our ads elsewhere on the internet.
  • Conversion and session technologies — cookies, pixels, scripts, local storage, and similar tools that link your visit to the ad that brought you here.

These technologies operate silently in the background. There is no cookie banner on this site; by using the site, tracking is active. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

You can limit tracking yourself: block or clear cookies in your browser; use Google Ads Settings; adjust Facebook/Instagram ad preferences in your Meta account; or use the opt-out tools at aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org. Limiting tracking may not stop our ads entirely — it makes them less relevant.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and prepare your solar quote.
  • To deliver your project through Trio Solar and the partners required to complete it.
  • To market to you — by email, phone, and text message (see Section 6), and by showing you targeted and retargeted ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, website, and services.
  • To comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights and the security of the site.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties, and we do not share it except as described here:

  • Trio Solar — our install and service partner. Requesting a quote means your information goes to Trio Solar to price, design, finance, install, and service your project.
  • Project delivery partners — the companies required to complete a solar project, which may include installers, financing providers (such as EnFin by Qcells), equipment manufacturers and distributors (such as Qcells and Axia by Qcells), warranty and service providers, and, for company-owned systems, system owners (such as Sunrun-affiliated entities). The specific partners involved can change over time and by project; this policy covers the categories rather than a fixed list.
  • Service providers acting for us — website hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics, and advertising platforms that process data on our behalf.
  • Advertising platforms — as described in Section 3, our use of pixels and audience tools means platforms like Google and Meta receive data about your visit. Under some U.S. state laws this is treated as "sharing" personal information or "targeted advertising," and you may opt out (Section 7).
  • Legal and safety — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a business sale, merger, or reorganization.

6. Marketing communications & contact consent

When you submit your phone number or email — on this site or to a third-party source from which we lawfully acquired your information — you consent to receive marketing communications from Solar Stealth and Trio Solar, including calls and text messages that may be made using automated dialing technology or prerecorded messages, and marketing emails. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt out of texts: reply STOP to any message.
  • Opt out of email: use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us below.
  • Opt out of calls: tell us during any call or contact us below.

7. Your choices & U.S. state privacy rights

This site is operated for U.S. residents. It is not designed for, directed to, or intended to comply with the laws of the European Union (GDPR) or other non-U.S. jurisdictions.

Residents of certain U.S. states — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Texas (TDPSA), and Connecticut (CTDPA) — have privacy rights that may include: knowing what personal information we hold, requesting a copy, requesting correction or deletion, and opting out of "sales," "sharing," or "targeted advertising." As a matter of policy we extend these choices to any U.S. resident who asks, whether or not a specific law technically applies:

  • Access / copy / correct / delete: email hello@solarstealth.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity (typically by matching the email or phone number on file) and respond within 45 days.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising / "sharing": email hello@solarstealth.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," and use the platform tools in Section 3. We will suppress your information from our custom ad audiences.
  • No discrimination: we will not deny you services or charge you differently for exercising these rights.
  • An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is useful for the purposes above — including ongoing marketing — and as required for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. If you ask us to delete your information (Section 7), we will delete or de-identify it except where retention is required by law or needed to honor your opt-out (suppression lists must keep minimal data to work).

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information (HTTPS across the site, access controls, spam and bot protection on forms). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This site and our marketing are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version, and the current version is always at solarstealth.com/privacy/. Continued use of the site after changes means the updated policy applies.

12. Contact

Privacy questions or requests: hello@solarstealth.com. Please include "Privacy Request" in the subject line so we can route it quickly.
